Learn How The Darn Thing Works ... from Harvard

I often forget that most people don't have my understanding of computers. When asking for help, friends and and work colleagues often remind me of that fact. Thus, I did some sleuthing around and discovered an excellent course from Harvard: Understanding Computers and the Internet. This course is free, and has all of its lectures, class notes and screencasts available online.

Class lectures range from the grad assistants playing Jeopardy against selected students, to multimedia and security. Make certain you don't miss the "weekly videos / screencasts" over in the right hand column. I also added this course to my engineering courses search engine.
