I found some very nice CAD / CAE learning web sites over the weekend. The motivation was my son's new computer which we recently bought in order to run Solidworks. This leads me to the first web site:
- CAD Junky - This site contains a wealth of CAD tutorial screencasts and demos. Although the site is sponsored by Solidworks, you will also find screencasts that focus upon Autocad, Google SketchUp and ProEngineer. Solidworks is to be commended for having an open site, and an open mind (if a company can be said to have such).
Solidworks also maintains a blog dedicated to assisting educators with CAD instruction. It's name is "Learn . Create . Succeed" My web meanderings also took me to RobiNZ CAD blog, another good resource. Finally, I definitely will add CAD Junky to my eLearning search engines.
